Questions and answers
Everything I get asked regularly. If your question is not here, just message me.
Prices and payment
What does makeup cost?
Natural (no-makeup) makeup 80 GEL, evening 100 GEL, bridal 150 GEL, graphic 150 GEL. Prices are per person. Travel is charged separately: +50 GEL within Tbilisi, from +100 GEL outside the city.
Is a deposit required?
Yes — a 30% deposit holds the date and is deducted from the final total. It simply means I stop taking other bookings for that day. The balance is paid on the day itself.
I’m booking from abroad. How do I pay?
Tell me which country you are paying from and we agree a method that actually works before you commit to anything. International transfers to Georgia are not always straightforward, and I would rather find a route that functions than have you attempt one that fails or costs more in fees than the deposit.
What happens if my date changes or I cancel?
Tell me as early as you can. If the new date is free, I move the deposit to it. If the booking is cancelled altogether, the deposit is not returned — by then I have turned other work away for that day — but I will always try to find a solution with you.
Is there a group discount?
Yes. Three or more people get 10% off the total, and the travel fee is charged once per address rather than per person.
Place and time
Do you come to me?
Yes — I work on location: your home, apartment, hotel or venue. The listed price is for makeup done at my place; coming to you is +50 GEL within Tbilisi and from +100 GEL outside the city (Mtskheta, Kakheti and other regions), depending on distance and agreed in advance.
How long does it take?
About one hour per person; graphic makeup takes 1.5 to 3 hours. So a bride plus three others is roughly four hours, and the wedding-morning schedule is planned backwards from that.
How early can you start on the wedding morning?
Early starts are possible; we agree the exact time around your schedule. What I need to know in advance is how many people are having makeup and when the photographer or videographer arrives.
How far ahead should I book?
Wedding dates as early as possible — September and October Saturdays go first and are usually taken between February and April. Evening and natural makeup can often be booked a few days ahead. Send me the date and I will tell you straight away.
Bridal
Do I need a trial, and what does it cost?
It is not compulsory, but I recommend it to brides. It costs 80 GEL. At the trial we choose the shade, the lip and the lashes, check how your skin behaves, and plan the timings of the morning.
Can you do my mother, sisters and friends too?
Yes, the same morning. Each person takes about an hour, so I need to know the number in advance to calculate the schedule. Three or more people get 10% off. I work with every age of skin.
What if I don’t like it on the day?
That is precisely what the trial prevents — we settle everything there, without time pressure. On the morning I also leave a little slack in the schedule so something can be adjusted if you want it. Just say so; it is not awkward.
The makeup itself
How long does it last?
Bridal and evening makeup are built for a long day: primer, thin buildable layers, setting spray, and waterproof mascara as standard. Lip colour usually needs refreshing at some point — I show you how.
How does it photograph, especially with flash?
No white flashback: the base is chosen for that. I check the shade in both daylight and artificial light and keep skin texture natural, because heavy powder reads much more strongly on video than it does in person.
Are false lashes compulsory?
No — entirely your choice, agreed in advance. We can finish with mascara only.
I have sensitive skin — is that a problem?
No. Tell me about any allergies, eczema or lash-glue reactions when you book and I will choose products accordingly. For brides this is checked at the trial, weeks before the wedding.
How do you handle hygiene?
Brushes are washed and disinfected with a dedicated solution between every client, lip and lash applicators and sponges are single use, and cream products are decanted with a spatula rather than taken straight from the pot.
Will natural “no-makeup” makeup even be visible?
You will notice the result, not the makeup. Skin looks rested and even, features read more clearly, and nobody will say you are wearing makeup. That is the point of it being a service in its own right rather than a lighter version of something else.
Other
Do you do hair as well?
No — makeup only. Hair is done on location by a separate specialist. Let me know in advance so both schedules fit into the same morning without a clash.
Do you speak English?
I work in Georgian. With English-speaking clients I confirm every detail in writing — the date, the address, the start time, who is having makeup and the exact price — before the day. In practice this works well and is often more precise than a spoken agreement, because nothing depends on memory or on interpretation in the moment.
Can I send you a reference photo?
Please do — it helps a lot. Send it on WhatsApp or Instagram and I will tell you honestly how it will translate onto your own skin and features.
How quickly do you reply?
As soon as I can. You will always hear from me.
